As a part of the British Columbia Utilities Commission's Long-Term Transmission Inquiry, British Columbia Transmission Corporation hosted a workshop to provide an overview of the scenario development process, export study approach and to get input into the initial scenarios that will be submitted to the inquiry.

BCTC will be reviewing comments received at the workshop and submitted during the comment period and will incorporate those comments in its scenario work for the September filing where possible. All of the comments received will be compiled and submitted with the filing.

BCTC would like to reiterate its view that these initial scenarios are being developed as a starting point to facilitate discussion and that BCTC fully expects these scenarios to be modified and new ones developed as part of the Commission Process and First Nations consultation planned for the fall.  Given the short time-frame, the initial scenarios have been limited by the need to base them on information currently available. New information submitted as part of the Inquiry or through the First Nations consultation will be reflected in later submissions.
